Dr. Science. Remember him? He had that show on NPR. that always started with him announcing, "I'm Dr. Science and I have a Master's Degree in Science."

First thing that comes to mind are the typical white lab coats.
And yes... Dr. Science must have been the Dr. House of those days...

Crazy convoluted glass apparatus and test tubes filled with brightly coloured liquids that you totally know were expressly prepared because they look pretty.
