Does anyone have any experience with this place: IWA-HWG

At first, though their pages suffer from a lack of decent design IMO, it looked like a good thing. I'm looking to take my PHP and MySQL programming to the next level(s), and maybe unlearn bad habits by starting at the beginning. I've been doing okay so far with what I know, but I know that I need to know more, and how to do it all better. I know enough about the material that by reading the course descriptions, I could tell I'd be learning something if I took the classes there.

I paid the yearly membership fee, and it all goes downhill from there. The checkout process and member and online classroom areas are cumbersome and poorly designed, and the pages don't even validate (though the "public" areas do, and advertise that fact as well with all their W3C badges on every page).

The member area could even be termed non-functional, really, since it keeps asking me to login over and over again (and it's not a cookie issue here, either). Honestly, I was sitting there thinking that I could have programmed their whole site better myself with my limited skills, which is a bad feeling to have about something like this I think.

Then I find out that the class I was really interested in (Intermediate PHP) isn't even in the current "Course Catalog" on the site, and the page describing the class is not really linked from the site, I only got to that page from Google. You can get to the rest of the site from that course page, but you can't get to the course from the site if that makes sense. After an email to them, they say the class is currently not being held, and that they hope to offer it again in the near future. Not exactly "positive" by any means.

So there's my experience so far with this. Does anyone have a better one to share, that might restore my faith? Any bad ones that will reinforce my feeling that I've been an idiot?

Anyone?

You'll find this is the case with a lot of online courses. VTC and Lynda.com have a good PHP/mySQL video tutorials package - and I believe Zend also do training courses (or at least recommend good ones.
