My favorite thing about Leopard is the attention to detail. Leopard was delayed a few months and Apple's excuse was that they needed to use the QA team from the Mac OS to do QA on the iPhone before it was released. I think that is really, really obvious that the Leopard team took that opportunity to revisit each and every portion of the OS and polish every pixel - which is in my opinion the best part about Leopard.
Come to think of it, that is why I've always enjoyed Mike's approach to the design of 9rules.
