Sold.

My iPod (only a month old!) is going on eBay the second those things come out over here.

Scrivs is there anything Apple makes that you don't have or at least want?

The Newton.

SOLD...

I said the DAY the iPhone was released that I would buy one if I didn't have to buy the phone or the contract.

SOLD!

...and is it just me or does the new Nano look STUPID

I actually like the look of the new Nano and the bigger screen. I can't think of any other company that makes me want the next version of their products when the prior versions aren't even more than 2 years old.

Looks like I should've waited another week before I bought my macboook w/ the free iPod...

I doubt they'll be bundling the Touchscreens with anything

SOLD! So sold!

And yes, the Nanos are uuuuuugly!

I mean, yes, I can see the iMac. iPod. iPhone all looking the same thing they're going for.

But it's like a mother trying to dress her grown children to match the baby.

It does not work.

Only 8 or 16 GB stoage? Eff that noise.

I think the new Nanos are cute!

I currently have the OLD 20GB monochrome model and I use literally 2GB MAX on that thing...

I'm buying one simply for the WiFi and the iPod functions...

Don't care about TV and Movies I have a DVD player and a TV for that.

pretty much exactly what I wanted. No mention of Mail though. Not a dealbreaker, but just wondering about it.

I think Mail would TOTALLY rock and it IS a bit odd that it wouldn't be included as it IS an internet thing and not a cell phone thing.

Does anyone know if they yanked the internal speaker that the iPhone has.

I finally lookeded at the iPod Touch page .... and now I'm tempted to buy the pwretty gadgetz! Oh noes!

to all the early iPhone adopters ...... MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA .... suckers. and with that, i'm STILL waiting for the next generation before i buy the iTouch .... that's me ... still cheap, still skeptical.

Why so harsh? I bought the G3 iBook in 2001 wanting the latest tech and I got what I paid for.

They ALWAYS upgrade their products.

I'd be miffed if I bought an iPhone and they decided the idea was stupid and closed up shop.

it just bugs me that the smaller gadgets, and this isn't limited to apple, are put out there before they're really 'ready'. first genner's have to deal with all the bugs & restrictions (the cell provider limitation being just one) that get smoothed out by the 2nd & 3rd gen.

Yeah, happens ALL the time.

I usually don't buy 1st Gen products but DAMMIT I'm BUYING an iPod touch.

it is cute .... i'm counting on you & scrivs, et. al., to post reviews

I dunno, for the price, I think that 160GB Classic is pretty attractive. Well, it would be if I weren't already completely satisfied with my current 80GB.

hahaha, WORD

after what happened today with the IPhone and 200 price drop! I dunno if I will ever been another apple early adopter!

Yeah, that was the first thing I said: "man, I'd be really pissed if I'd already bought an iPhone, and they dropped the price nearly immediately!"

That aside, the first thing I thought when I saw the iPhone was that I wanted an iPod that looked like that, minus the phone. SOLD! (as soon as the finances recover major spending on computers within the last month!)

And I do think the new nano is cute, but cute in the "if you hadn't seen the iTouch first" kind of way. It's great for my daughters, but not for me.

all y'all sure like your toys!

I cut down a dead poplar yesterday.

16GB isn't enough space for me, so when they come out with a bigger version of the iPod Touch, I'll get it. Until then...I'll gladly stick with my 5G iPod Video. :)

I have a 20GB iPod with ALL my music on it... and still have 18GB left.

So 16GB is MORE than enough for me.

I found a ipod touch guide tour video clip

http://letsprove.tv/player.php?code=5cj2r03xaw1189050036

It's very nice looking music player, What I like about iphone is not about phone functions but it is something like coverflow.

Im buying the 8GB touch as soon as it is released. Cant waait!!

It all depends on how much I have set aside when my Christmas money flows in as to which Touch I buy.

Man, I bet on the next iteration this thing will get a new name: PDA. Then maaaybe I'll have a reason to ditch my Axim. Well, maybe if it has video out.

I guess I'm one of the few who thinks this thing and the excitment around it (see above) is evidence of how great Apple is at marketing.

The bad thing about iPod Touch is the memory, max 16 gb, I'd love to have more...

I like the new Touch, but i would buy a new Nano i guess, because i can add the radio with 49 € more, and i think an mp3 player without a radio it's not a good idea anymore... And i can put photos and videos on the nano too with new bigger screen, i like it.
