I can't pull the trigger. I mean, everyone seems to think it totally sucks but it is something i'm sure everyone could find useful (if it wasn't so much $$$). That being said, what would you say to really push me over the edge and shell out the money to have a subscribtion? Anything?

.mac is not worth it!!!! i had a .mac when i first got a mac, but then i found there were other places that i could get the same "features" but free. like the storage space, i use photobucket and that's free. the blog? get one at wordpress.com-- i mean, i don't see a purpose for it...so for me it's a waste of a hundred.

I have a love hate with it. I have an account, but to date mostly so that I could mess about and understand iWeb for our cats site (http://morenosworld.com) which is pretty sad I know :-) With the ecent announcment of .mac web gallery it starts to more attractive (10GB of online storage), but the reality is yiu can do everything that .mac offers through other options and services. Probably cheaper not as convenient

The improvement's to apple's webmail have been kind of enticing. I run my own server, two of them actually. I have all the storage I could want, and all the bandwidth. I setup wordpress sites for people all the time, as well as photo gallery sites... but none of those integrate with my desktop apps.

Never had one, though I've been tempted. Just didn't seem practical enough to be worth the price.

I got a free 1-year .mac when I bought my macbook. I never used it. My blogs were elsewhere, odeo could be for podcasts, flickr for photos, videos go to viddler, and I didn't need the extra email address (or storage). So yeah, everything in one place would be more convenient if I didn't already have everything scattered across the web, and all my friends didn't already know where I was scattered.
